Claudia Alban May 30, 2024 My friend has been raving about the Cave Creek Millennia MMA classes for a while and kept encouraging my wife and me to join. As a surprise for our friend’s belated birthday, we finally decided to attend a class. Having never tried Muay Thai before, we were a bit apprehensive walking in. However, our nerves were quickly calmed after meeting the instructor, the other classmates, and the staff.
The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with everyone eager to share insights and tips. The instructor was fantastic – he explained and demonstrated the stances and techniques clearly, making it easy for beginners like us to follow along. We started with shadow boxing, and the instructor would walk around offering personalized tips to help us improve.
Next, we paired up to work on combinations, beginning with punches. After a short break, we combined punches with kicks, and later, added movement to our combinations. Each segment was well-structured, allowing us to build up our skills progressively. We finished the class with some scrimmage time, which was both challenging and exhilarating.
Overall, we had an amazing time and felt a real sense of accomplishment by the end of the session. We highly recommend these classes to anyone, regardless of their experience level. It's a great way to learn something new, get a fantastic workout, and meet some wonderful people.

My 6 year old daughter looks forward to classes each week and loves to show off her new moves on her older brother! My husband also goes and really enjoys how the classes push his skill set. Overall it’s just a great place! Super clean and awesome!!

Bravothree2 June 2, 2023 In a short two weeks, I have seen an amazing growth in determination and self-confidence within my daughter (9) since joining Millennia MMA. Josh is an excellent instructor and nurtures an environment that pushes my daughter to naturally want to be focused and attentive during class, as well as work on her craft outside of the gym. She is learning a valuable skillset from Millennia that will instill confidence and give her the means to protect herself when she is grown and out from under my wing.
